Message from the Chief
On behalf of the Officers and the Board of Directors, I would like to express our most sincere appreciation for the contribution of the entire team that continues to provide Emergency Medical Care to our community.
During 2011, we responded 1,151 times to provide assistance to the members of our community. Sometimes we return from calls with a sense of sadness at the difficulties that we encounter and witness, and other times we are able to return with joy due to positive outcomes.
A cardiac arrest save and the birth of a baby boy were among the highlights of 2011, as well as the beginning of a Junior Program to introduce the youth of our community to Emergency Medical Service and promote volunteerism.
It is through the support of our volunteers and their families, our paid staff, our local Fire and Police Departments and our local government agencies that we are able to continue to provide these valuable services.
To all those who have lent a helping hand we offer a sincere THANK YOU for your important contribution of time and energy. We are deeply grateful for your support.
